'Cirque Du Soleil' to Perform in Egypt for The First Time This September

Heads-up: Ticket prices aren't for the faint of heart.

Cirque Du Soleil in Egypt

Founded in 1984 in Montreal, the now-iconic Cirque Du Soleil has grown to be the biggest and most instantly-recognisable theatrical performance the world over, regularly touring every major city in the world. Due to its complexity and need for massive budgets and very specific venue requirements, the entertainment company launched a spin-off in 2018, called Bazzar - an equally immersive show inspired by the vibrantly colourful and chaotic Indian bazaar - enabling them to take the show to unconventional destinations and make it more accessible and affordable to audience around the world, and now they're coming to Cairo.

'Bazzar' is to debut in Egypt at New Cairo's Hyde Park on September 19th and will run daily until October 6th, coinciding with the Egyptian Armed Forced Day, which is a national holiday in Egypt. Tickets start from EGP 950 for the lowest category, and climb all the way up to EGP 3700 in the highest category.

Toddlers under three years old aren't allowed to attend the performance, and attendees can't walk in with food, drinks, or professional cameras. Get tickets through here.
