Egypt came in second after Cuba.
Egypt has ranked in at second place on Bloomberg's list for stop-over destinations for cruise ship trips in 2019. Several luxury lines offering world cruises and Middle East cruises have said that they will start including Egypt in their itineraries, according to Bloomberg, with passengers getting a chance to visit several locations, including Safaga, Luxor and Aswan.
With a selection of cruise ship operators to pick from, including Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Oceania Cruises and Silver Sea, bus trips from the Red Sea will be arranged to transport passengers to some of Egypt's historic sites including the Valley of the Kings in Edfu, among other sites.
With Cuba ranked first, Bloomberg's list also includes the Arctic Greenlands which came in third, as well as the Galapagos Islands, Alaska, Turkey, Papua New Guinea and West Papua in Indonesia and Antarctica.
